      Charlie Chaplin has responded to the selective draft call,

and stood in line waiting his turn to declare himself.

He was minus his well known mustache, derby, shabby attire

and cane, appearing as nothing other than an every-

day young man in a neat business suit. He is now carrying

his little blue ,ticket to France.‘“
