„Films with snakes“
Editorial content. „Doesn‘t Like Snakes.
Here is a letter from Steve Farrar, of the Casino, Eldorado, Ill.,
which is worthy the attention of manufacturers. He writes:
I want to ask you a question: why in all that is for the betterment
of the pictures, do producers allow their directors to use
snakes in the pictures they produce? It seems that directors
right now have the ,snake craze.‘ This week I have had
three films with snakes used in the stories, and to top it all off
in A Night in the Show last night there was a whole
basket full of them for Chaplin and the company to play with.“ (...)
