To Mr. Chaplin belongs the somewhat doubtful honor

of being the first target for the newly organized

Evanston censor board. Yesterday Mrs. W. H. Rose,

a member of the board, being unable to attend

the first unreeling of „A Night in the Show,“ had Miss Georgiana

Juul, Evanston‘s coppette, take her place.

„I cut out that scene where a fat woman falls on Charlie,“

explained Miss Juul last night.

      „Why?“

„Well, you see, O, well, it was – well, when you see it you‘ll

understand. It wasn‘t proper.“
