Louie Mueller Fools Film Fans Who Hail
Him As Funny Chaplin
Photos. Louie Post Mueller.
Seattle, Wash. – Seattle has been paying the homage
of chuckles and titters to Charlie Chaplin for weeks,
while he performed his antics on the street. But – sh! – it wasn‘t
Charlie at all – Charlie, the funny fellow of the film world.
It was Louie Post Mueller, who has acquired most of Chaplin‘s
tricks of expression and mirth-provoking business and
looks enough like him to be his twin. He is but 21 years old,
and acts as a living poster for a film house here, having
been „grabbed“ by the manager as he was going to a masque
ball in a Charlie Chaplin make-up.
