There are several Essanay Chaplins, apparently dupes, being
offered to exhibitors by a concern in the Exchange
Building. „The Champion,“ one of the film comedian‘s best
pictures, being hawked about $10. As Essanay has
all their Chaplin productions copyrighted in this country, replevin
action will probably be taken to recover the illegal film.
