& BEBAN AT THE RIALTO

Laughter is plenty, a touch of pathos, much patriotic

inspiration and a taste of travel are reflected from

the screen at the Rialto, Manhattan, this week. George Beban

in „A Roadside Impresario“ furnishes the dramatic

element, Charlie Chaplin in „The Immigrant“ supplies the

hilarity and „The Land of the Rising Sun“ provides

the scenic portion of the entertainment. (...)

Charlie Chaplin has never evolved a piece of nonsense

more consistently laughable then „The Immigrant.“
