„The unprecedented demand for passage on the transatlantic
liners from Liverpool to New York, due to the return
of American tourists from their vacations in Europe, has made
it necessary for many prominent people to cross by other
avenues of transit. Karno‘s Komedians, the English pantomimic
act, which will make its American debut in The Wow-wows
at Percy Williams‘ Colonial Theater, October 3, were among those affected, the entire company, together with their elaborate
scenic effects and properties, being compelled to cross to Quebec.
Karno‘s Komedians will be an early future attraction
