& „Easy Street,“ the ninth of the Chaplin-Mutual comedies,

saw its last at the studio this week when the final

editing was done and the negative shipped East. Mr. Chaplin

and Vincent Bryan have been busy for the past few

days preparing a story for the next subject, which will be cast

within a day or two. As there are to be three more

Chaplin subjects, and no announcement has been made

of the screen comedian‘s future, many inquiries

are to be heard in film circles as to what Mr. Chaplin‘s next

contract will specify.

„Supported by his unusual cast

Editorial content. „CHARLES SPENCER CHAPLIN, having

entirely recovered from the injury received from a falling

lamp post during the filming of his last comedy, Easy Street,

has started work on the tenth of his funny pictures

produced under his famous $670,000 contract with the Mutual

Film Corporation.

This latest child of the Chaplin brain is entitled

Health Resort, and gives Mr. Chaplin an entirely

new angle on which to hang his inimitable funny business.

In this picture Mr. Chaplin will be supported

by his unusual cast, including the beautiful Edna Purviance

and Eric Campbell, the burly giant whose work has

been a very delightful part of the Chaplin-Mutual comedies

so far produced.

Health Resort will be released in March.“
