& CHARLIE CHAPLIN AT PORTOLA
Charlie Chaplin opened yesterday at the Portola Theatre
in his latest comedy, „The Cure,“ one of the most
amusing comedy productions yet screened for the purpose
of presenting the gambols of Charlie. One of the
points in its favor is the fact that Charlie works almost
throughout the entire picture in his famous
fish-eyed character of the ,funny drunk.‘ The action all takes
place at a ,health water‘ resort.
