CHARLES CHAPLIN In „The Floorwalker“
(...) Winnipeg Tribune, May 13, 191
„After his arrival at the studios“
Editorial content. „Bet You Don‘t Recognize Him“
Photo. „You probably never would take this for your own
Charlie Chaplin, but that‘s just who it is. This is the
first picture taken of the Mutual‘s $670,000 comedian after his
arrival at the studios especially equipped for him at
Hollywood, Los Angeles. Charlie had not been upon the scene
of action long before he set out to test the camera
that took his first Mutual picture.“ (...)
„The Floorwalker, Chaplin‘s first Mutual release, will be shown
in Winnipeg next week. It will be shown at the Province
for three days, going to the Bijou for the latter half of the week.
Majestic will then run it for the entire following week and
it then goes to The Columbia.“
Bijou Theatre, 498 Main Street, Winnipeg.
The Floorwalker is
released by Mutual May 15, 1916.
