„THE FLOORWALKER“ is a farce-comedy coming under
the general heading of „Vehicle,“ having been written
to order and directed solely for the purpose of exhibiting the
talents of Charlie Chaplin, who made his reputation
as an acrobatic comedian and has improved to a point where
he deserves better opportunity than has ever been
afforded in a „vehicle“ of any kind.

UNLIKE the athlete who requires training to reach
the top of his form after a rest, Charlie Chaplin
returned to the studio following a vacation during which
he had nothing to do but listen to salary offers,
and in good time completed a two-reel comedy which, when
screened, showed him to be in the pink of his
