„The terms of sale are being violated“
Editorial content. „Suit on Chaplin Films
Charge that 12 Chaplin film including The Floorwalker,
The Fireman, Easy Street and The Immigrant,
which were sold by C. C. Pictures Corp. in 1923 for nontheatrical purposes now are being distributed to theatres
throughout the country, are made in an injunction suit
brought in the Supreme Court by Mutual
Chaplins, Inc., against the Wyko Projector Corp., American
M. P. Service and Haas Film Co. to restrain
their distribution for any purpose but non-theatrical
on the ground that the terms of sale are
being violated.“
