at the Hippodrome.
The diversified entertainment at the Hippodrome will
undergo its weekly change to-morrow. The opera
company and orchestra will present what the management calls a ,costume musicale,‘ rendering upward of a dozen of the
most famous operatic waltzes of the past quarter century; there
will be new living pictures, and the motion picture portion
of the bill will include the first showing anywhere of a dramatic film entitled When It Strikes Home, featuring Grace Washburn
as well as the newest Charles Chaplin comedy and the Mutual Weekly.“ (...)
