A novelty act was presented by the Werner-Amoros Co.
Besides acrobatics and juggling they are also
musicians of no mean ability and indulge in some pantomimic
work. A Charlie Chaplin imitation, although passe,
was well done by one of the men. The female impersonation
by another member was well carried out during
the turn and proved a surprise at the finish. Though worthy
of better attention the Five Belmonts, diabolo
and hoop experts, worked to a walkout audience.

(Essanay)
By B. Quade
Charlie Chaplin as a woman. Makes you want to giggle,
doesn‘t it? But there was nothing in it for Charlie,
because he made up as a woman to get out of the worst
batch of trouble he had ever gotten himself into.
Nevertheless, it is funny for you, who are just looking
on at him. Charlie began flirting with girls. Then
he got into the mess and made a woman of himself
to avoid being discovered. After that he simply
couldn‘t help flirting with the men. Then it is just one
laugh after another.
ON a bench in the park three people, a man, a woman,
and a young and beautiful girl, were sitting.“ (...)
„At that moment, across the sward in back of the bench
on which they sat, a young man came walking.“ (...)
