AMUZU Charley Chaplin – In Woman.

In the ranks of the thousands who have enjoyed the antics
of that droll fun-maker, Charlie Chaplin, it is safe to say
that perhaps not one percent have any idea how the little fellow
with the funny feet looks in his street clothes, as the
actors say. Over at the Amuzu theater today the management
has Chaplin in the lobby, but not the Chaplin as his
admirers know him. He is seen in a recent photo, taken minus
his comedy shoes, his little moustache and his cane.
He appears today in one of his recent successes, „A Woman.“
Chaplin without his makeup is a really handsome man,
in fact quite a dandy.

Charlie Chaplin as a woman. Makes you want to giggle,
doesn‘t it? But there was nothing in it for Charlie,
because he made up as a woman to get out of the worst
batch of trouble he had ever gotten himself into.
Nevertheless, it is funny for you, who are just looking
on at him. Charlie began flirting with girls. Then
he got into the mess and made a woman of himself
to avoid being discovered. After that he simply
couldn‘t help flirting with the men. Then it is just one
laugh after another.
ON a bench in the park three people, a man, a woman,
and a young and beautiful girl, were sitting.“ (...)
