& CHAPLIN FILM HERE SUNDAY
„His New Job,“ first Essanay release of Charles Chaplin,
comes to the Shell theater Sunday and Monday.
Wherever this new film has been shown it has been proclaimed
by critics „a riot of fun from beginning to end.“ The film
simply shows Chaplin in search of a job, but his antics keep one
laughing ten-ninths of the time.

Chas. Chaplin „His New Job“
First Essanay Release.
This is not a Keystone. You have never seen it. It is the first
film comedy in which Chaplin has posed for months.
It is the first new Chaplin comedy shown in the city in many
months.
It is by far the best thing Chaplin has ever done.

„In Chaplin´s company“
Editorial content. „He Imitates Charles Chaplin
Have you seen Charles Chaplin‘s double? He is doing
a comedy stunt in front of the Melbourne theater, where
His New Profession, a Chaplin comedy, is being shown today.
The actor, who was in Chaplin´s company at the London
Music Hall, can imitate Chaplin with remarkable
veracity. The actor would have gone into a big film company
in California recently, but his health would not permit,
and he accepted an offer from Eugene Levy, owner of the
Melbourne, to imitate Chaplin in front of the theater.“
Melbourne Theater, 916 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma.
His New Profession is
a Keystone comedy of 1914.
Redaktioneller Inhalt. Der Titel der Meldung ist:
„Er imitiert Charles Chaplin.“ Der Text lautet: „Haben Sie
Charles Chaplins Double gesehen? Er zeigt einen Comedy Stunt
vor dem Melbourne Theater, wo heute His New Profession,
eine Chaplin Komödie, gezeigt wird.“ Notabene His New Profession
