„ A huge hall clock with a continuous stroke of one“
Editorial content. „Novel Chaplin Devices at Elite.
Nashville, Tenn. – The Elite‘s marionette caricatures of Chaplin
which appear with each new Mutual release include
an appropriate display for One A. M. A huge hall clock with
a continuous stroke of one occupied the center of the
lobby, in which the staggering Charles held with one hand and
groped for support with the other, being operated
by electricity. Granville Rives, scenic director for the Cresent
Amusement Company, is responsible for the ingenious
devices.“
