Comedian Frolics in Unusual Film Comedy
Once again Charlie Chaplin is here.
He appeared at the Market Street Theater in a two-reel comedy
film entitled „One A. M.“
„One A. M.“ is an unusual film. It features only the comedian
in the cast of characters. Chaplin is the only player.
His work alone is quite sufficient to make up for the absence
of a supporting cast.

pleasure to thousands of movie lovers, who have
come to await with eagerness the monthly release of two-real
(two--reel) farces which feature the million-dollar comedian. The Market-street Theater management announces that
for the week beginning Sunday afternoon the attraction will
be Charlie Chaplin in One A. M.
The Mutual Film Company is said to have gone to great
expense in fitting out the production of One A. M.,
which calls for heavy scenic investiture. Surrounding the star
is an able company of film favorites, including
Edna Purviance, the pretty heroine of the Chaplin comedies.
Her great beauty is on a par with her acting.“ (...)
