„The legislators have taken time off“

Editorial content. „Solons Taking Time

      Off for ,Dictator‘

Lincoln, Neb. – Democratic equivalent to a command

performance was set here this week for Saturday

when The Great Dictator will be premiered locally before

its regular run at the Varsity for the 43 members of the

Nebraska unicameral legislature. Solons said they‘d adjourn

their business Saturday morning if such an arrangement

could be made, and Howard Federer, general manager of the

Nebraska Theaters, Inc., of which the Varsity is a part,

set the picture for unreeling in the a.m. This is the first time

the legislators have taken time off and gone en masse

to a screening.“
