      In exploiting „The Great Dictator“ Manager F. B. Schlax

of Warner‘s Kenosha Theatre, Kenosha, Wisc.,

instructed his cashier to answer the phone with „Good afternoon.

,The Great Dictator‘ is coming.“ The Doorman greeted

patrons with: „Good afternoon (or evening). ,The Great Dictator‘

will be here Friday.“ Incidentally, Schlax reports

that 50 per cent of his patrons thought the picture was terrific,

while the rest did not care for it, at all. Business,

however, was „very big.“
