in United Artists after six months‘ negotiations.

them, in United Artists under a stock purchase and
production agreement. The picture was taken after the
signing of the contract at Pickfair, Miss Pickford‘s
Beverly Hills home, accounting for the smiles of all concerned.
The new partners were to meet with the board
of directors in New York later this week to elect officers.

owner-partner of United Artists.
Selznick, inactive since the making of Gone With the Wind
and Rebecca, joins Charles Chaplin, Alexander Korda
