„Chaplin‘s Hinkle“
Editorial content. „Starr Pens Chaplin Article
The American Hebrew is going in for a philosophic type
of motion picture coverage. Its editors say that the
readers‘ reaction (which takes in many members of the clergy
of many denomination) to Martin Starr‘s 10,000-word
article on Warner‘s Sons of Liberty induced them to ask for
a similar philosophically-patriotic treatment on
Charlie Chaplin. The result is Starr‘s article, ,Chaplin‘s Hinkle,‘
which breaks in the issue of Oct. 27. It deals
in great measure with Chaplin‘s present production
before his cameras.“
