Chaplin‘s film, The Dictators, walked across
a Hollywood street to get an ice cream soda. A puzzled
drunk walked by, leaned unbelievingly against
a lamp-post, but finally decided that he‘d better take
no chances. He raised his hand stiffly, tottered
on his heels, and said:
