& Chaplin Funny in His Antics

      in Dress Suit

Tonight will close the engagement of Charly Chaplin at the Apollo

in his latest two-reel comedy, A Night in the Show. This film

has proven to be the most successful comedy in which Chaplin

has ever appeared. There is not a dull moment throughout

the entire length of the two reels and many new and novel stunts

are pulled by the ever popular comedian. In this picture,

Chaplin appears in a full dress suit, in a role never before

assumed by him.“ For three years he played the role in A Night

in an English Music Hall on stage. „He attends the evening

performance of a vaudeville show and after arriving proves himself

to be more of an attraction than any of the acts on the bill.
