& Charlie Chaplin is causing a landslide of laughter at the
Garrick this week, where he is seen in „The Revue
of 1916,“ a five-reel comedy melange, adapted from his three
notable comedy successes of the year, „The Tramp,“
„His New Job“ and „A Night Out.“ Only the most comical scenes
have been used to make this spectacular ensemble and
they have been carefully woven into a good plot, which makes
this film out of the range of the ordinary comedy. This
unusual production will be shown for the remainder of this week
only, for starting next Sunday the king of comedians will
be seen at his Los Angeles home in „Behind the Screen,“ his
latest comedy masterpiece to be made under the
$670,000 Mutual-Chaplin contract.

& Garrick.
A landslide of laughter and fun is being caused by Charlie
Chaplin at the Garrick this week. The little comedian
is appearing in The Revue of 1916, a five-reel comedy melange
adapted from his three notable successes of the year,
The Tramp, His New Job and A Night Out. Only the most
amusing scenes have been used to make this
spectacular ensemble and they have been carefully woven
into a good plot, which places this film beyond the
ordinary comedy. The picture will be shown for the remainder
of this week only.
Starting next Sunday Chaplin will be seen in Behind the
Screen, his latest comedy masterpiece to be made
under the Mutual-Chaplin contract. It is a travesty on picture
making.
