& THIEF TAKES PICTURES FROM LOBBY TWICE
According to Manager Callan of the Plaza Theatre,
Bridgeport, Conn., somebody in this city is very
much impressed with the charming pictures of Mabel Normand,
the Keystone star.
A large hand-painted photograph of Miss Normand was
recently taken from the lobby of the theatre. This
is the second time a picture of Miss Normand disappeared
from the front of the Plaza.

& Matt Saunders, formerly in charge of S. Z. Poli‘s Wilkesbarre,
Pa., theater, and also of the Poli Theater, New Haven,
Conn., is now in charge of Poli‘s new theater at Bridgeport,
Conn. This is somewhat in the nature of an honor
for Mr. Sauders, as Mr. Poli‘s Bridgeport theater is considered
the finest and most modern house on this circuit, with
a seating capacity of 3,300. The new Poli is doing capacity
business with vaudeville and picture programs. The
Plaza Theater, of Bridgeport, is now managed by Mr. H.
Reichenbach, as Mr. Saunders cared for this house
until recently.

& PLAZA THEATER
Charlie Chaplin, the Keystone‘s famous „drunk“ comedian
whose admirers in Bridgeport as well as all over the
country are legion, is appearing in another of those hilarious
Keystone two reel features, His Trysting Places,
at the Plaza the first half of the week, and it bids fair to be
another instance of the crowded-house policy that
has been in vogue at that popular playhouse for months past.
It‘s Chaplin this and Chaplin that where ever you
go, and he is claimed by all to be the funniest man in the „movies“
today. Working with Chaplin in His Trysting Places
is Chester Conklin, the other funny little fellow and Mabel
Normand.
