„One of the most pretentious acts“

Editorial content. „Empress. One of the most pretentious

and expensive acts ever staged on the Sullivan and Considine

circuit will be seen this afternoon at the Empress theater,

when Fred Karno´s English pantomime company will play a return engagement in A Night in a English Music Hall. This will

mark the farewell American tour of the company and the comedy

before returning to England, where an extensive booking

schedule will detain the piece and the players for several seasons

to come.“

„The Zanetto troupe of jugglers will make their initial

appearance in this city, performing marvelous feats of

dexterity. Relieving the thrills of their performance, they

present some pleasant comedy.“

Empress Theatre, Market Street, San Francisco,

A Night in an English Music Hall, May 6, 1912.

Redaktioneller Inhalt. „Einer der anspruchsvollsten

und teuersten Acts.“
