Another high grade bill is promised at the Empress
this week beginning with the performance this
afternoon. Sullivan and Considine's fame as purveyors
of superior vaudeville will go up another notch,
the management says, when this program Is looked over.
First in importance on the program will be Fred Karno's
London comedians In A Night in a London Club. One
of Karno's acts was recently seen at the Empress. It was A Night
in a London Music Hall, and it proved, with its star, the
inebriated gentleman, one of the hits of the season. The present offering will be similar in kind but even more elaborately
staged, it is promised.
Elsie Wales and May Mabelle Meredith will be the added
attraction. They are ,melody girls from melodious lane,‘
and will be heard in popular and classical vocal selections.
Irene Hobson, formerly with ,The Beauty Spot‘

Proposal. She will be assisted by Charles Durand
recently of the ,Love and Politics‘ company.
