„Syd still is handling my business affairs“

                                              Los Angeles, Oct. 23.

      Charles and Syd Chaplin  have not come to the parting

of the way as reports have had it. On the other hand,

the brothers are on the very closest terms.

      The comedian made a statement to that effect this week.

,Syd and I are very close,‘ he said. ,The reports that

we have split or will split are untrue. Syd still is handling

my business affairs, and will continue to do so.‘“
