„A long line of ticket buyers which swamped the box office“
Editorial content. „Never in the history of a motion
picture theater has the demand for reserved seats been
paralleled as in the case of the announcement
of Charles Chaplin‘s six-reel First National comedy, The Kid,
which is slated for the Ambassador theater screen
next Saturday matinee for a period of nine days, when
that announcement was followed by a long line
of ticket buyers which swamped the box office at the Ambassador
theater and the downtown branch office at the Kinema.“
Ambassador Theatre, 3400 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles.
The Kid is pre-released by First National
in Los Angeles February 19, 1921.
