& Do Your Neighbor

      A Good Turn

If you have been to see Charlie Chaplin in „The Kid“

at the Palace Theater don‘t keep that good time to yourself –

tell your neighbor.

Tell him of the finest Chaplin picture you ever saw,

full of both laughs and tears.

Tell him about that wonderful little actor Jackie Coogan

in the title role.

Tell Him what a Treat the Whole Show Is.

Tell him He‘ll Have to Come Early!

      Advertisement Film Still.

„Mr. Chambers‘ work rank high“

Editorial content. „Novel Shapes Increase

      Productivity of Space

Showmen in many parts of the country have adapted

the single column upright display as a means of obtaining

exceptional prominence for their copy, reasoning, wisely, that

such a course is advisable when there is even rumored

possibility of industrial readjustments detrimentally affecting

their box offices. In their use of this and other novel

shapes they have displayed ability of a high order in composition

and arrangement.

Two such displays are reproduced herewith, one used

by Stanley Chambers, manager of the Palace theatre,

Wichita, Kan., the other received without identification. Both

are excellent specimens of the exhibitor advertiser‘s

work

      * * *

The Chambers composition was used for Charles Chaplin‘s

First National feature, The Kid, a production which has

been perhaps more widely advertised than any single production recently published. In originality of treatment and

effectiveness of display Mr. Chambers‘ work rank high

among that recorded.“
