(At the Strand.)
On account of the great attendance at the Strand theater
yesterday, due to the exhibition of the newest Charlie
film, „Charlie Chaplin at the Rink,“ the management announced
last night that the film will be repeated at the Strand
again today – running all day. „Charlie Chaplin at the Rink“
proved a magnet for thousands yesterday who were
unable to gain admittance, and it is pronounced by all who
admire the work of the greatest of all film comedians,
the funniest piece of comedy in which he has ever played
the leading role. It was only at the insistent demand
of those who tried to see the film and could not that the Strand
management decided to run it for another day, and
last night made arrangements accordingly.
