Two Big Reels
Today, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
This is absolutely the climax in film mirth – the best and
funniest picture ever turned out by Keystone. You start
with a giggle and end in a roar. Other Keystones have been
gloom-killers, but in this great 2-reel film Chaplin
outdoes himself.
This film has been shown in another Seattle theatre,
and will be run Wednesday until Saturday night, inclusive, at the
request of hundreds of Class A patrons.
Here is what Vic, the dramatic critic of The Star,
said about Charles Chaplin in last Monday‘s Photo Review:
,Sunday I strolled into the Class A and nearly threw
a fit laughing at Charlie Chaplin in His New Profession, one
of the funniest Keystones I have ever seen. I laughed till
my sides ached. Beyond a doubt Charlie is the craziest man
in the country.‘
