& THIEF TAKES PICTURES FROM LOBBY TWICE

According to Manager Callan of the Plaza Theatre,

Bridgeport, Conn., somebody in this city is very

much impressed with the charming pictures of Mabel Normand,

the Keystone star.

A large hand-painted photograph of Miss Normand was

recently taken from the lobby of the theatre. This

is the second time a picture of Miss Normand disappeared

from the front of the Plaza.

and pictures.

& Matt Saunders, formerly in charge of S. Z. Poli‘s Wilkesbarre,

Pa., theater, and also of the Poli Theater, New Haven,

Conn., is now in charge of Poli‘s new theater at Bridgeport,

Conn. This is somewhat in the nature of an honor

for Mr. Sauders, as Mr. Poli‘s Bridgeport theater is considered

the finest and most modern house on this circuit, with

a seating capacity of 3,300. The new Poli is doing capacity

business with vaudeville and picture programs. The

Plaza Theater, of Bridgeport, is now managed by Mr. H.

Reichenbach, as Mr. Saunders cared for this house

until recently.

& THE PLAZA

In addition to a vaudeville and photoplay program that

is bound to draw the crowds to the popular

Plaza the latter half of the week, commencing with today‘s

matinee, Manager Callan has secured two special

attractions that are going to make the bill the largest and most enjoyable of the current season.

Caught at the Cabaret, two thousand feet of Keystone

film, which to a screen play „fan“ is synonymous

of two thousand hale and hearty laughs, will be one of the

added features. The fact that it is a Keystone brand

is sufficient to prove its merit but two reels make it doubly

pleasing.
