& A FOOL AND HIS MONEY – REVISED
A. L. Einsteen, publicity director for the Stanley Theater
Company of Philadelphia, ran the following in his
newspaper ads last week. The French doc referred to is
chairman of the state censor board:
Dr. Oberholtzer, secretary of the State Board of Censors,
declares that Charlie Chaplin is a fool! This censor
receives $2,400 per annum. Chaplin receives $ 2,400 every
day. See Chaplin in „Easy Street.“ „WHO‘S WHO?“

& Getting Back.
This is from the Palace theater, Philadelphia, one
of the Mastbaum houses. The boss censor does
not like Chaplin, and said so, which explains the allusion.

„WHO‘S WHO?“
We don‘t see why this sort of advertisement would not
be suitable even outside the state of Pennsylvania.
The light of publicity certainly is penetrating. And it needs
something to penetrate some censorship minds,
