& CHARLES SPENCER CHAPLIN, having entirely recovered
from the injury received from a falling lamp post during
the filming of his last comedy, „Easy Street,“ has started work
on the tenth of his funny pictures produced under his
famous $670,000 contract with the Mutual Film Corporation.

„Mr. Chaplin and Vincent Bryan have been busy“
Editorial content. „Easy Street, the ninth of the
Chaplin-Mutual comedies, saw its last at the studio this
week when the final editing was done and the
negative shipped East. Mr. Chaplin and Vincent Bryan have
been busy for the past few days preparing a story
for the next subject, which will be cast within a day or two.
As there are to be three more Chaplin subjects,
and no announcement has been made of the screen
comedian‘s future, many inquiries are to be
heard in film circles as to what Mr. Chaplin‘s next contract
will specify.“
