& For next week, Manager Poli announces Charles Chaplin,
in his new production „His New Job,“ a two-part
comedy (featured) released through the Essanay company.
Chaplin recently went to the Essanay company
as director and chief comedian and the picture (Monday) will
be the first release under his new working conditions.

It‘s almost an old-home week bill that Manager Poli has
booked for Poli‘s, the first half of the week. In addition
to Charley Chaplin, in his newest picture, there are two „Made
in Bridgeport“ offerings on the very excellent
vaudeville bill. (...)
The Chaplin picture is in two parts and is called „His New
Job“. It was produced under the personal direction
of Charles Chaplin, the greatest comedian in the „movies“
and is said to be his best effort. This screamingly
funny film will be shown twice every evening and after
the matinees.

The „movie“ program is of exceptional merit and includes
„The Home-Breakers.“ a two-reel Keystone comedy;
„His New Job.“ Charlie Chaplin‘s first and funniest Essanay
release which also uses up two reels of film; „Fatty,
Mabel and the Law,“ another Keystone comedy, and „The
Spirit of Giving.“
