Marie Doro, one of the most charming actresses of the
contemporary stage, makes her debut before the camera
in her greatest stage success, „The Morals of Marcus,“ at Moore‘s
Strand, from Sunday to Wednesday, inclusive, next
week. Miss Doro‘s impersonation of Carlotta, the refugee from
the Turkish harem, is the nearest approach to hypnotism
from the screen that one could imagine. As an added attraction
Mr. Moore announces the first showing of the Essanay
Company‘s new comedy, „His New Job,“ featuring Charles
Chaplin.
