in charge of foreign sales „last week issued figures for the first
28 weeks of 1941 showing it to be one of the most
successful periods in the history of the company, despite
the succession of sales and administrative difficulties
and changes. World-wide sales amounted to $3,600,00 over
the corresponding period of 1940. That covered
sales in the U. S., Canada, Latin America and other foreign
countries.
Kelly predicted one of the most successful years
the company has ever experienced if earnings
hold up to the pace of the first six months. In that period,
however, were included the heaviest part of the
income from Chaplin‘s The Great Dictator, which exceeded
