„Opens an engagement at the Melbourne“
Editorial content. „MELBOURNE
Chaplin‘s comedy, Work, opens an engagement
at the Melbourne Sunday. In this play Chaplin
is the helper of a paper hanger. They enter a swell home
and begin work. Paste is smeared all over everything,
including Charley‘s boss‘ head. Charley falls in love with
the maid and daubs her up, too.“
Melbourne, 2nd Avenue (at University Street), Seattle.
Work is released by Essanay June 21, 1915.
