„One of the greatest acts“
Editorial content. „Big Majestic Feature.“ (...)
„It remained for Fred Karno, however, to arrange for vaudeville
one of the greatest acts involving the use of scenic
investiture showing the interior of a theater. Mr. Karno‘s
offering is known as A Night in an English Music
Hall, and it created a decided sensation in Europe. It requires
the use of 20 people in the cast and a special car for
the transportation of the scenery alone.
The act in question is one of the great acts booked
for the Majestic‘s summer season in Butte and
it is one of the big feature affairs that are going to prove
a revelation to local theater goers.
The summer season of 1911 for the Majestic now
is under way and the Sullivan & Considine
organization already is beginning to make good in no uncertain
manner the promises announced as the summer
season of 1911. The Karno creation is in itself a show and one
of the biggest things high-class vaudeville has yet tried.“
