The date of the release of „The Adventurer,“ Mutual-Chaplin
Special No. 12, has not yer been set and will not be
decided upon until the film reaches the executive offices of the
Mutual Film Corporation from Los Angeles and is
viewed by President John R. Freuler personally,

in The Adventurer. The last few scenes of his forthcoming
picture are being ,shot‘ at Los Angeles. Many scenes
from The Adventurer were taken along the Sierra Madre, coast
range, where Chaplin, in the role of an escaped convict,
flees over the rocky coast pursued by armed guards, of whom
big Eric Campbell is the chief.“ (...)
