Pola‘s portrait

Editorial content. „CHAPLIN MAY

      TAKE HIS BRIDE TO PARIS

      By Grace Kingsley

LOS ANGELES, Cal. – (Special Correspondence.) – Charlie Chaplin and his bride are going to spend their honeymoon

in New York, with a possible trip to Europe following, according

to Charlie‘s announcement. They expect to leave here

as soon as Charlie‘s present comedy is finished. Of course,

one always prints things about Charlie with one‘s

fingers crossed, because he does just revel in changing

his mind. But Lita Grey Chaplin longs to see Paris,

and it is quite likely she will get her way. From present

indications Charlie‘s picture, at present called

The Gold Rush, will be finished some time in January,“

Spurr Photo. „LIA GREY CHAPLIN, the

      famous comedian‘s bride.“

„Charlie and his bride are keeping as close at home

as two turtle doves. Lita loves the big house which

Charlie lately built, and says she wouldn‘t change one thing

about it.

That is, since Pola‘s picture was removed!

You see, Charlie ordered Pola‘s portrait taken from the

wall, but by some oversight it wasn‘t.“
