Everybody who had anything to do with „The Salvation
Hunters,“ seems to have enjoyed the luck
of a Midas. Thanks to having been associated with that
much-discussed venture, each one of that company
of unknowns has reaped a harvest of helpful publicity and
profitable employment.
The girl in the case, Georgia Hale, was signed up by
Douglas Fairbanks, and is now appearing opposite Charlie
Chaplin in his comedy, „The Gold Rush,“ in place
of Lita Grey.
In a way, Miss Hale has been the luckiest all along.“

Editorial content. „Charles Chaplin was born
at Fontainebleau, France, in 1889 of English parents.
Educated in London public schools. Went on the
vaudeville stage with a troupe of juvenile dancers and
appeared in dramatic productions. In 1910
he came to the United States as the leading performer
in an English vaudeville act and played until
November, 1913, when he joined the Keystone company.
After twelve months he went to Essanay, then
to Mutual, and in 1918 made his famous million dollar
contract with First National. On completion
of this he wrote and directed A Woman of Paris and has just
completed The Gold Rush. Permanent address,
