& Chaplin to Make
Gold Rush Film
Los Angeles, Jan. 19. Announcement is made from
the Charles Chaplin studio that „The Gold Rush“
will be the title of the forthcoming Chaplin comedy, work
on which has already begun.
The story, written by Chaplin, deals with the
„Forty-niners.“ This will be his first comedy
release for United Artists Corporation and will be completed
early in February.
