„Called a rehearsal of the entire orchestra for Monday evening“
Editorial content. „AIDS IN ARRANGING MUSIC.
When Charles Chaplin‘s six-reel comedy production begins
its engagement at the Kinema Theater next Saturday
a novelty will be an original score prepared by Rene Williams,
conductor of the orchestra, with the co-operation
of the comedy star himself. It is, perhaps, no secret that
Chaplin is a musician, but the fact that he has
written a number of original tunes for his six-reel comedy,
and that Chaplin and Williams will together arrange
the musical setting, should prove unusual. Mr. Williams and
Mr. Chaplin have called a rehearsal of the entire
orchestra for Monday evening.“

The Kid is released by First National
in Los Angeles March 5, 1921.
