      Collision of Autos

      Miss Edna Purviance, motion picture actress, was reported

to have been slightly injured today in a collision between

two automobiles at Wilshire and Harvard boulevards. It was

stated the actress was removed to her home at

Westlake terrace and attended by her physician for a deep

cut on the face and contusions.

      Motion-picture Actress is Victim of Auto Collision.

      As a result of a collision between two

automobiles at Wilshire and Harvard boulevards late

Monday afternoon, Miss Edna Purviance,

motion picture actress, was painfully cut and bruised on the

head and face. She was taken to her home and

treated by a private physician. When the accident took

place Miss Purviance was riding in the rear seat

of one of the machines.“
