      FOLLOWING publication of an interview attributed

to Charles Chaplin to the effect that he intends

selling a motion picture produced by him and entitled

The Kid and that he was considering several

offers, First National Exhibitors‘ Circuit, Inc., in a statement

signed by H. O. Schwalbe, secretary, declares

positively that the comedy star has no right to transact
