HOLLYWOOD, July 29. – Paramount has released
to Charles Chaplin its title, „The Great Dictator,“ removing the
only obstacle to the use of that title by Chaplin for his
comedy satirizing dictatorship.
Following conferences with Maurice Silverstone, United
Artists chief executive, who arrived from New York
today, Chaplin may set the release date for the picture and
scoring is now under way.
