H. D. Saxton‘s annual party for the Griswold and Eastern
Point cottage children was held on Tuesday.
Mr. Saxton‘s guests, numbering forty-five children within
the age of eight years, were seated on both
sides of the T-shaped table, upon which were piled toys
and souvenirs. A Charlie Chaplin hat covered
each small masculine guest plate, and the little men were
not slow in donning them at every rakish
angle ever discovered by Charlie Chaplin, and perhaps
a few original ones.
